Crawford Sets Rooftop Unit at KONE Centre

MOLINE, IL - Crawford Company set a rooftop unit at the new KONE Centre along the Mississippi River in downtown Moline today.
The outside air unit serves the entire eight-story building, which includes heating, air conditioning, and air filtration. The energy recovery unit assists in the effort to make the project LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. The unit delivers 14,000-cfm and weighs in at 15,000-pounds. The unit will be ducted down from the roof to the first floor.
Crawford serves as a design assistant sub-contractor and is responsible for all HVAC work.

The multi-story KONE Centre will rise high above the Mississippi and provide an unparalleled view of the adjacent Mississippi River and Bass Street Landing. This $50 million mixed-use development will bring retail, office, and additional public ammenities to Moline's riverfront. The tower will be supported by a multi-story parking structure.

This highly anticipated development will refine the skyline and Moline's image as a modern and vibrant city.

KONE Inc., an international elevator and escalator manufacturer, has agreed to become the building's anchor tenant demonstrating their commitment to consolidate and maintain a significant presence in Moline. This will result in the retention of 375 KONE employees.
