After completing the one mile road race in any one of the various waves offered, you can celebrate your accomplishment by partaking in some of the best local (and perhaps a few non-local) hand crafted brews and great food while enjoying live musical entertainment.

This wave of runners will consist of individuals who submit times run within the last year. For males running in this category, times must show sub 5:00 minute miles and women must submit sub 6:00 minute miles.

The Open Wave

The top three overall fastest times (excluding any runners with either high school or college eligibility) will be awarded a cash prize.

The top five overall runners in each wave will win a customized, commemorative pint glass (unless under the age of 21). The High School team that ends the mile with the overall lowest score will receive a donation of $250.00 to their school’s Cross Country and Track Team. The top five overall high school runners will each receive a "Top 5” plaque for their achievement.

All runners that participate in the Micro Brew Mile will receive a limited edition Micro Brew tech-shirt.

As if the opportunity to take home any of these fantastic prizes wasn’t enough, don’t forget about the opportunity to join in the rocking post-race party where a live band will entertain your ears, while post-race snacks and refreshments will cure your hunger and quench your thirst. Remember for those 21 years and older, the great taste of local microbrews will be on hand! All awards will be given at the ceremony during this post-race portion of the event.
