Crawford Company Congratulates Pete Franck on Retirement
December 10, 2015Crawford Co. honored long-time HVAC Technician Pete Franck for his years of service during a reception today. Franck, who started with the company in 1974, has worked at Crawford for over 41 years. Fellow co-workers, past co-workers, friends, and family joined in recognizing the versatile journeyman that worked on commercial, industrial, and residential jobs.
Franck worked in the field in varying weather conditions and at all hours. Franck had a versatile skill set that included HVAC control systems, troubleshooting of all mechanical systems, and extensive application knowledge. Franck was the first service technician hired by current president Bob Frink. The two are the only Crawford employees to have spent over 40 years at the company.
“I can’t recall a customer complaint with any work that Pete did,” Frink said. “He was the resource that was looked for when they had a problem. He was willing to share his knowledge and helped train new service techs. He was dedicated to Crawford and did an excellent job of representing the company. He helped contribute to our success and helped establish the foundation the company was built upon.”
Franck was the seventh employee ever hired by the company, which now has over 150 employees.
