Crawford Company Congratulates Dannie Shoemaker on Retirement

Crawford Company recognized long-time estimator and division manager Dannie Shoemaker with a retirement celebration today. Shoemaker has served as Residential HVAC Division Manager since 2001. He played a major role in building the foundation for the residential division.

He was presented with an inscribed award reading: "With appreciation for 13 years of extraordinary service and invaluable leadership."

Shoemaker's first job was at John Deere Harvester Works in 1962. He worked for Deere until 1969. He also served our country, from 1967-1969, in Vietnam.

From 1969-1987 he worked at Ideal Mechanical in various roles, including a stint as a manager. Shoemaker later began his own company, Quality Heating & Cooling, which he operated until 2001. 

Under his leadership, Shoemaker grew residential sales for Crawford consistently over his 13 years at the company.

Crawford Company, with locations in Rock Island (IL) and Dubuque (IA), specializes in heating, air conditioning, plumbing, welded fabrication, laser cutting, brewing equipment, and Monoxivent systems. The company goes to market within residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
