Crawford Co. Receives 2nd Place National Safety Recognition

Crawford Co. has received national recognition in the 2010 SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association) Safety Excellence Award Program. Crawford is a second-place winner for having an outstanding safety record within the 100,001 - 200,000 hour category. In 2009 Crawford had zero lost time reported injuries, while working 114,319 hours.
"Crawford conducts job site audits, has regular inspections of our facility, and stresses individual safety responsibility throughout the company," said Jerry Lee, company safety director.
Crawford has received numerous safety awards over the years; however the last national recognition came in 2003 for a zero injury year in 2002, when Crawford placed third nationally.
Crawford Co., established in 1952, serves the Quad City Area by specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, laser cutting, welded fabrication, and Monoxivent systems. Crawford performs work in residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
