Crawford Cares Voting Underway for Dubuque Non-Profits

DUBUQUE, IA - The 2015 Crawford Cares program is underway. Crawford Cares gives back to the Greater Dubuque Area. Crawford Cares is making a positive impact in the local community by honoring local entities with personalized awards, recognition and charitable donations.

After receiving 30 nominations for the 2015 program, voting has begun to determine the three finalists for 2015. Between now and Nov. 22nd individuals may vote for the nominated non-profits. The three organizations with the most votes will be announced Nov. 23rd. A panel of judges will review the three finalists and determine an overall winner and two runner-ups. The overall winner receives a $1,000 charitable donation, while the other finalists receive $250 each.

Hospice of Dubuque was the overall winner for the 2014 Crawford Cares program, while Shalom Spirituality Center and Dubuque Lutheran School claimed runner-up honors.
