Brandon Mejia and James Hoyt Recognized as December Safety Award Recipients
December 18, 2024ROCK ISLAND, IL - Crawford Company recognizes Brandon Mejia and James Hoyt as the December Safety Award recipients. Brandon and James were recently working on a commercial construction project installing premanufactured aluminum balconies. On one particular day excessive wind prohibited them from performing their work safely. Brandon and James recognized the conditions were not conducive to complete their work, and so they made the decision to postpone work until the weather conditions improved. Their decision reduced the chance for accident or injury on the jobsite. Brandon and James work in the Architectural Fabrication Division. Brandon is a tradesman, and James is a journeyman with Sheet Metal Workers Local 91. Brandon has been with Crawford for one year and James has been with the company for seven years.
Along with recognition, Brandon and James received gift cards for their dedication to safety in the workplace.
