Cole Powell Recognized as July Safety Award Recipient

ROCK ISLAND, IL - Crawford Company recognizes Cole Powell as the July Safety Award recipient. Cole was nominated for this award because of his actions to keep a pedestrian out of harm's way. Cole was recently working at a jobsite where multiple crane lifts were being performed. The entire area was blocked off with cones and red safety tape. Cole noticed a pedestrian that needed to cross the safety tape to enter the building for work. Cole made sure the crane lift was at a point where there was no risk, and then he personally escorted the pedestrian through the designated walk area. His actions ensured that the pedestrian was able to enter the building safely. Cole is a journeyman pipefitter. He has been with the company for seven years. 

Along with recognition, Cole received a gift card for his dedication to safety in the workplace.
