Award Winning Tree Displayed at Festival

Crawford Company has displayed a tree in the 2006 Festival of Trees at the River-Center. The Festival ran from Nov. 17-26.
The tree was fabricated of stainless steel, with decorative trim and ornaments in copper.
The tree, named "Modern Memories", received a first-place award in the artistic division by the festival committee. The tree also received the Designer's Choice award.Crawford employees Rich McKown, Al Ehrecke, and Larry Dooley teamed up to fabricate the tree.
Crawford also sponsored a giant balloon in the Festival's Holiday Parade. The company directed "Felix the Cat" through the streets of downtown Davenport.
The Festival is the annual fundraiser for QC Arts.
