Project Summary:
Crawford Company recently completed the manufacture and installation of two stainless steel cyclones for PCS Phosphate, Marseilles, IL. The new units replaced the original carbon steel cyclones that were failing due to abrasion and corrosion. The cyclones collect the rock duct dust that contains weak phosphoric acid. The stainless steel cyclones will eliminate the corrosion aspect and also be more resistant to abrasion.
Crawford was responsible for field measurements, design and fabrication of the new vessels. Our experienced welders made the cyclones in our newly expanded metal fabrication facility. In addition, Crawford Company's field crew planned and executed the removal of the old cyclones and the installation of the new units during a plant shut down. This project is another example of Crawford's diverse group of employees working together with customers to complete a project on time and with in budget.
WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING
Jeff just left and I thank you for sending him over. He is very friendly and helpful. He even went the extra mile and looked at two other vents and put a bead of caulk on them (going the extra mile). Again, I really do appreciate the friendly and helpful employees at Crawford. I thank you (Brian Bausch) again for getting back to me whenever I had a question on something. No matter if it was during your work day or in the evening after cutting your lawn, you made yourself available. Please let each of your employees that have done work at our home know that we appreciate them and keep doing what they are doing.
