Crawford Company, Art-O-Lite Electrical Complete Purchase Agreement

ROCK ISLAND, IL - Crawford Company and Art-O-Lite are pleased to announce the two businesses have executed a purchase agreement.

Crawford Company assumed ownership of Art-O-Lite on Jan. 2, 2020 and AOL has become a new division within Crawford Company. Employees of AOL were retained and became employees of Crawford Company. AOL will continue to do business as usual. This will include the same contact information and internal structure.

Over time, the Art-O-Lite business location will re-locate from Moline to 1306 Mill St., Rock Island, IL. The main phone number (309-797-2548) and web address will be retained (www.artolite.com).

Art-O-Lite, founded in 1967, has been a premier electrical contractor in the Quad Cities. Affiliation with IBEW Local 145 and NECA has continued. AOL is involved in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Brad Williams and Scott Williams have served as owners of Art-O-Lite and continue employment with Crawford Co.

Crawford Company, founded in 1952, currently specializes in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, drain cleaning, laser cutting, specialty welded fabrication, brewing equipment, custom architectural products, and Monoxivent products and services. Crawford has been located in Rock Island for its’ entire 68-year history. Crawford also has a location in Dubuque, IA. Crawford serves industrial, commercial, and residential markets. Crawford is a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 91 and Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25 and 125. Crawford owners are Ian Frink and Jim Maynard.
