Crawford Co. Embarks Upon 60th Year of Service

ROCK ISLAND, IL - Crawford Company has embarked upon its' 60th year of serving the Quad Cities community. The company, founded in 1952 by Harvey Crawford, has grown throughout the years and currently employs 75 individuals and operates out of a 47,000-sq. foot facility in the Sunset Industrial Park.
The company began as a residential heating and cooling contractor and evolved over time to diversify in other areas. Crawford products and services are currently found in residential, commercial, and industrial markets. The company specializes in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, laser cutting, specialty welded fabrication, Monoxivent source capture products, and fiberglass reinforced plastic products. Sales, in 2011, surpassed $17-million for the first time in history. The company is planning a more formal 60-year anniversary announcement later in 2012.
Bob Frink serves as president, a position he has held since 1974. Jim Maynard Jr. and Ian Frink are vice presidents, while Larry Anderson is CFO. The company has had one other previous owner, Jim Maynard Sr., who retired in 1996.
