Crawford Co. Names Keith Gerks Division Manager for Laser, Weld
June 28, 2011Crawford Company has named Keith Gerks to the position of Division Manager for Laser and Weld/Fabrication Sales. The new position will provide sales support for Crawford customers. He will also assist in managing the production aspects of the divisions.
"Keith has a high level of experience in these markets and we look forward to having him join our team," said Jim Maynard, vice president. "He has an excellent background in customer service and an excellent work ethic."
Prior to Crawford, Gerks served in a similar capacity at Schebler Company. Gerks worked at Schebler for 19 years, the past four as specialty fabrication manager.
At Crawford, he plans to help grow the Laser and Weld Divisions by focusing on outside sales, by assisting with strategic planning within the divisions, and by strengthening customer relations.
"I hope to grow these divisions by sales volume, but also by improving processes and efficiencies to better serve our customers," Gerks said.
