Tig Welder

Crawford Company is seeking qualified applicants for the position of TIG Welder within the Fabrication Division. This position is part of a custom fabrication team and focuses primarily on sanitary stainless-steel fabrication and welding for brewery equipment.

Compensation commensurate with experience and background. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Construct and assemble custom brewery equipment
• Perform TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) on thin-gauge stainless steel
• Assemble and install equipment at customer sites, which may require working in confined spaces
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing equipment
• Read and interpret two and three-dimensional technical drawings
• Inspect completed welds for flaws
• Set up and operate various welding machines, grinders, saws, and measuring instruments. Must also perform routine equipment maintenance

• Responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Welding certification and/or TIG weld experience, preferably with sanitary stainless steel
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment TIG weld test
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot and find creative solutions for installation or repair challenges
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively work with team members
